How tip sizes work (quick guide)

Tip sizes are usually shown as three digits (for example 517):

• First digit relates to the fan pattern (approx. fan width in inches when spraying at around 12" from the surface).
• Last two digits relate to the orifice size (for example 17 = 0.017").

Actual fan width and finish will vary depending on coating, pressure and spraying distance.
