What's included

  • Ingco 20V cordless circular saw body (CSLI1651)
  • 1 × 165mm circular saw blade
  • Hex wrench (for blade changes)
  • Batteries: not included
  • Charger: not included

How to use

  • Ensure a suitable 165mm circular saw blade is installed. The tool comes with one blade, but you may want to change it based on your material (e.g., fine-tooth blade for plywood, rip blade for dimensional lumber).
  • To change the blade: Press the shaft lock to prevent rotation, then use the supplied hex wrench to loosen the hex bolt counterclockwise. Remove the bolt, outer flange, and blade. Install the new blade with teeth facing forward (rotation direction marked on guard), replace the outer flange and hex bolt, and tighten clockwise while holding the shaft lock.
  • Adjust cutting depth: Loosen the depth adjustment lever on the side of the rear handle, move the base up or down to set the desired depth (blade should project no more than one tooth below the workpiece for safety and clean cuts), then tighten the lever securely.
  • For bevel cuts: Loosen the bevel adjustment lever on the bevel scale plate at the front of the base, tilt the base to the desired angle (0-50°), then tighten the lever securely.
  • Insert a charged Ingco 20V battery (not included) until it clicks into place.
  • Mark your cutting line clearly on the workpiece and secure the material properly to prevent movement.
  • For straight cuts, use the sighting guides on the base to align with your cutting line. For added accuracy, use a rip fence (accessory) or clamp a straight edge guide to the workpiece.
  • Press the lock-off lever and pull the switch trigger to start the saw. Wait for the blade to reach full speed (4600rpm) before beginning the cut.
  • Place the front of the base on the workpiece without the blade making contact. Turn on the saw, wait for full speed, then smoothly move the tool forward through the cut.
  • Guide the saw steadily along the cutting line without forcing. Keep the base flat against the workpiece and advance at a uniform speed for clean, straight cuts.
  • Release the trigger to stop the saw. Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop before setting the tool down.
  • Wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask) and follow Ingco safety guidance. Always support the workpiece properly to prevent kickback.

Care & maintenance

  • Remove the battery before changing blades, making adjustments, or cleaning.
  • Keep vents and guards clear of dust and debris, especially sawdust buildup.
  • Check the lower guard spring operation regularly - the guard should move freely and return to the closed position automatically.
  • Inspect blades regularly for dullness, damage, or warping and replace when worn. Dull blades cause excessive friction, binding, and kickback.
  • Clean sawdust from the base, depth adjustment, and bevel adjustment mechanisms to maintain smooth operation.
  • Ensure all adjustment levers (depth and bevel) are tight before each use to prevent shifts during cutting.
  • Store the saw dry and protected from damage, preferably with the blade guard fully closed.

  • Ingco 20V batteries (FBLI2001, FBLI20011 or higher capacity 4.0Ah options)

FAQs

Is this Ingco circular saw supplied as body only?

Yes. This listing is for the tool body only. Batteries and charger are not included, but 1 × 165mm circular saw blade is included.

Which batteries does it use?

It is designed to run on all Ingco 20V PowerShare batteries including FBLI2001, FBLI20011, FBLI20021 (4.0Ah) and other compatible models in the Ingco 20V range.

What can a cordless circular saw be used for?

Cordless circular saws are used for straight cuts in timber (dimensional lumber, framing wood), plywood, MDF, OSB, particleboard, and other sheet materials. Applications include rip cuts (along the grain), crosscuts (across the grain), bevel cuts, framing, decking, fencing, cabinetry, and general construction and renovation work.

Is a blade included?

Yes. The CSLI1651 includes 1 × 165mm circular saw blade for immediate use. Additional blades in various tooth configurations are available separately for specific materials and cutting requirements.

Is it suitable for trade use?

Yes, it is suitable for both professional trade and DIY applications. The 165mm blade size and 55mm cutting depth make it appropriate for construction, carpentry, and general contracting work.

Can it cut sheet materials?

Yes, with a suitable fine-tooth blade designed for sheet materials, it can cleanly cut plywood, MDF, OSB, particleboard, and similar engineered wood products with minimal tear-out.

Does it have adjustable cutting depth?

Yes. The CSLI1651 features adjustable cutting depth from 0-55mm at 90°. The depth adjustment lever on the side of the rear handle allows you to set precise cutting depths for your material thickness and application.

Do I need anything else to use it?

You will need an Ingco 20V battery and a compatible charger. The tool includes a blade and hex wrench. For best results, consider additional accessories like a rip fence for straight cuts and various blade types for different materials.

Do you sell batteries and blades?

Yes. Ingco 20V batteries, chargers and a range of 165mm circular saw blades (TCT, fine-tooth, rip, crosscut, multi-material) are available separately.

What is the maximum thickness it can cut?

The maximum cutting depth is 55mm at 90° and 38mm at 45°. This allows it to cut through standard 2×4 timber (50mm) in a single pass at 90° and handle most common construction materials.

Can it do bevel cuts?

Yes. The saw features adjustable bevel cutting from 0-50°, allowing you to create angled cuts for miters, chamfers, beveled edges, and specialized joinery work.

What blade size does it use?

The CSLI1651 uses standard 165mm (6½ inch) circular saw blades with a compatible arbour hole. This is a common blade size with wide availability in various tooth configurations for different materials.

How do I prevent kickback?

To prevent dangerous kickback: use sharp blades only; ensure depth and bevel levers are tight before cutting; support the workpiece properly (especially near the cut); avoid pinching the blade by supporting panels correctly; use a rip fence or straight edge for accuracy; never reach under the workpiece while cutting; and maintain a firm grip with both hands throughout the cut.
