What's included

  • 1 × Ingco 20V brushless cordless impact driver (CIRLI2028E)
  • 2 × 20V 2.0Ah battery packs (FBLI2001)
  • 1 × Fast intelligent charger (FCLI2001E)
  • 2 × Screwdriver bits
  • 3 × Nut setters

How to use

  • Charge both supplied batteries fully before first use using the included fast charger.
  • Insert a suitable impact-rated hex shank bit into the ¼″ chuck. Push the bit firmly into the chuck until it locks in place. To remove, pull back the chuck collar and extract the bit.
  • Insert a charged battery into the tool until it clicks securely.
  • Select the appropriate speed setting using the speed selector: low (0-1600rpm) for delicate materials and precision work; medium (0-1900rpm) for general-purpose driving; high (0-2600rpm) for heavy-duty fastening and large screws.
  • Position the bit onto the screw or fastener head, ensuring proper alignment.
  • Apply steady forward pressure and squeeze the trigger. The impact mechanism will automatically engage when resistance is met.
  • Allow the impact action to do the work - do not force the tool. The hammering action provides the driving force.
  • The integrated LED work light activates when you squeeze the trigger, illuminating your work area.
  • For reverse operation (removing screws), use the forward/reverse switch located above the trigger.
  • Wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, gloves) and follow Ingco safety guidance.

FAQs

Is this Ingco impact driver supplied as a kit?

Yes. This product is supplied as a complete kit with 2 × 2.0Ah batteries (FBLI2001), fast charger (FCLI2001E), 2 screwdriver bits, 3 nut setters, and a carrying case.

Which battery system does it use?

It uses the Ingco 20V PowerShare battery platform. The kit includes 2 × 2.0Ah batteries (FBLI2001), which are compatible with all Ingco 20V cordless tools.

What does brushless mean on an impact driver?

A brushless motor uses electronic control instead of carbon brushes, providing greater efficiency, more power, longer runtime per charge, extended tool life, and virtually no maintenance. Brushless impact drivers deliver more consistent torque and run cooler than brushed models.

What can an impact driver be used for?

Impact drivers are designed for driving screws, bolts, lag bolts, and other fasteners into wood, metal, masonry, and composite materials. They excel at heavy-duty fastening tasks like deck construction, framing, fencing, automotive work, and assembling furniture or machinery. The 285Nm torque makes this model suitable for demanding professional applications.

Are bits included?

Yes. The kit includes 2 screwdriver bits and 3 nut setters to get you started. Additional impact-rated bits and accessories are available separately for specific applications.

Is it suitable for trade use?

Yes, the brushless motor, 285Nm torque output, and robust construction make it suitable for professional trade applications and demanding DIY work. It's designed for construction, carpentry, mechanical, and general contracting tasks.

Do I need anything else to use it?

The kit includes everything needed to start working: 2 batteries, charger, and starter bits. You may want additional impact-rated driver bits and accessories for specific applications, but the included items cover most common fastening tasks.

Do you sell spare batteries and bits?

Yes. Ingco 20V batteries (including higher capacity 4.0Ah options), chargers, and a full range of impact driver bits and accessories are available separately.

What is the difference between an impact driver and a drill driver?

Impact drivers use a rotational hammering action (impacts per minute) to drive fasteners with high torque, making them ideal for driving screws and bolts. Drill drivers have a chuck for drilling holes and adjustable torque settings for precision driving. Impact drivers are more powerful for fastening but cannot drill holes; drill drivers are more versatile but less powerful for heavy-duty fastening.

How long do the batteries last?

Runtime depends on the application, speed setting, and fastener size. The 2.0Ah batteries provide sufficient runtime for most projects. Having two batteries allows you to work continuously by swapping between them while one charges.

Can I use this for automotive work?

Yes. The 285Nm torque output makes it suitable for automotive applications including removing lug nuts, engine bolts, and suspension components. Use appropriate impact-rated sockets with a hex-to-square drive adapter.

What are the three speed settings for?

The three speed settings provide application-specific control: Low (0-1600rpm, 0-2100bpm) for delicate materials and precision work; Medium (0-1900rpm, 0-2500bpm) for general-purpose driving in wood and metal; High (0-2600rpm, 0-2900bpm) for heavy-duty fastening, large screws, and lag bolts in dense materials.
