CT1 sealant and adhesive 290ml is a trade-trusted, multi-purpose cartridge for sealing and bonding in one go. Ideal for busy decorating jobs and DIY repairs where you want a neat finish and strong hold without swapping products.
Choose from Black, Clear, Grey, White or Anthracite. CT1 can be painted once fully cured and is paintable with common water-based paints (not suitable with alkyd paints). For best results, test first on your system.

CT1 bonds to many common materials including metals (including lead), glass, mirrors, wood/MDF, fibreglass, tiles, concrete, most stones (without staining), and many synthetic materials and plastics.
Select Black, Clear, Grey, White or Anthracite to suit the finish you want. Clear is often chosen where you want a less visible bead; darker colours are popular for contrast lines and matching darker trims or frames.
Yes, CT1 can be painted once it is fully cured. It is paintable with common water-based paints, but it is not suitable with alkyd paints. Prior testing is recommended.

Skin cure at 23°C / 50% RH is typically 25 minutes ± 5 minutes. Full cure rate is application-dependent; as a guide, 2–3mm can cure in around 12 hours (conditions and bead depth can change this).

Choose a colour that matches (or intentionally contrasts) the surrounding materials. Clear is useful where you want a less visible finish; White is common around trims; Grey and Anthracite suit darker frames and modern interiors; Black is often used for bold contrast or dark substrates.
You’ll need a standard mastic gun for 290ml cartridges. For a neat finish, use masking tape and tool the bead before it skins.
Yes, but apply it in vertical strips and it is not suitable for PP-backed mirrors.
It bonds to many plastics and synthetic materials, but it is not compatible with PP, PE and PTFE. If you’re unsure, test on a small area first.
Store unopened cartridges as advised for shelf life (18 months). Before use, ensure the cartridge has been stored at room temperature.
