What's included
- Ingco 20V 185mm cordless circular saw body (CSLI1851)
- 1 × 185mm 24-tooth circular saw blade
- 1 × Guide ruler (for accurate straight cuts)
- Batteries: not included
- Charger: not included
How to use
- Ensure a suitable 185mm circular saw blade is installed. The tool comes with a 24-tooth blade, but you may want to change it based on your material (e.g., fine-tooth blade for plywood, rip blade for dimensional lumber).
-
To change the blade: Press the shaft lock to prevent rotation, then use the supplied wrench to loosen the arbor bolt counterclockwise. Remove the bolt, outer flange, and blade. Install the new 185mm blade with 20mm arbor hole, ensuring teeth face forward (rotation direction marked on guard). Replace the outer flange and arbor bolt, and tighten clockwise while holding the shaft lock.
-
Adjust cutting depth: Loosen the depth adjustment lever, move the base up or down to set the desired depth (blade should project no more than one tooth below the workpiece for safety and clean cuts), then tighten the lever securely.
-
For bevel cuts: Loosen the bevel adjustment lever on the bevel scale, tilt the base to the desired angle (0-45°), then tighten the lever securely.
- Insert a charged Ingco 20V battery (not included) until it clicks into place. Higher capacity batteries (4.0Ah or above) are recommended for extended runtime when cutting thick materials.
- Mark your cutting line clearly on the workpiece and secure the material properly to prevent movement.
- For straight cuts, use the sighting guides on the base to align with your cutting line. Attach the included guide ruler to the base for consistent parallel cuts, or clamp a straight edge guide to the workpiece for added accuracy.
- Press the lock-off lever and pull the switch trigger to start the saw. Wait for the blade to reach full speed (4800rpm) before beginning the cut.
- Place the front of the base on the workpiece without the blade making contact. Turn on the saw, wait for full speed, then smoothly move the tool forward through the cut.
- Guide the saw steadily along the cutting line without forcing. Keep the base flat against the workpiece and advance at a uniform speed. The brushless motor and sharp blade will do the work efficiently.
- Release the trigger to stop the saw. Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop before setting the tool down.
- Wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask) and follow Ingco safety guidance. Always support the workpiece properly to prevent kickback.
Care & maintenance
- Remove the battery before changing blades, making adjustments, or cleaning.
- Keep guards and vents clear of dust and debris, especially sawdust buildup which can affect motor cooling.
- Check the lower guard spring operation regularly - the guard should move freely and return to the closed position automatically.
- Inspect blades regularly for dullness, damage, or warping and replace when worn. Dull blades cause excessive friction, binding, kickback, and poor cut quality.
- Clean sawdust from the base, depth adjustment, and bevel adjustment mechanisms to maintain smooth operation.
- Ensure all adjustment levers (depth and bevel) are tight before each use to prevent shifts during cutting.
- Store the saw dry and protected from damage, preferably with the blade guard fully closed.
- The brushless motor requires no maintenance - no brushes to replace.

FAQs
Is this Ingco circular saw supplied as body only?
Yes. This listing is for the tool body only. Batteries and charger are not included, but 1 × 185mm 24-tooth circular saw blade and guide ruler are included.
Which batteries does it use?
It is designed to run on all Ingco 20V PowerShare batteries including FBLI2001, FBLI20011, FBLI20021 (4.0Ah) and other compatible models in the Ingco 20V range. Higher capacity batteries (4.0Ah or above) are recommended for cutting thick materials and extended runtime.
What blade size does this saw use?
This model uses 185mm (7¼ inch) circular saw blades with a 20mm arbor hole. This is a common blade size offering greater cutting depth than standard 165mm saws.
Is a blade included?
Yes. The CSLI1851 includes 1 × 185mm 24-tooth circular saw blade for immediate use. Additional blades in various tooth configurations are available separately for specific materials and applications.
What can a cordless circular saw be used for?
Cordless circular saws are used for straight cuts in timber (dimensional lumber, framing wood, beams), plywood, MDF, OSB, particleboard, and other sheet materials. Applications include rip cuts (along the grain), crosscuts (across the grain), bevel cuts, framing, decking, fencing, roofing, and general construction and renovation work.
Is it suitable for trade use?
Yes, the brushless motor, 185mm blade size, and 65mm cutting depth make it highly suitable for professional trade and heavy-duty applications including construction, carpentry, framing, and general contracting work.
Does it have adjustable cutting depth?
Yes. The CSLI1851 features adjustable cutting depth from 0-65mm at 90°. The depth adjustment lever allows you to set precise cutting depths for your material thickness and application, from shallow grooves to full-depth cuts through thick timber.
Do I need anything else to use it?
You will need an Ingco 20V battery and a compatible charger. The tool includes a blade and guide ruler. Higher capacity batteries (4.0Ah or above) are recommended for cutting thick materials and extended use. Additional blade types may be useful for specific materials.
Do you sell batteries and blades?
Yes. Ingco 20V batteries (including higher capacity options), chargers and a range of 185mm circular saw blades with 20mm arbor holes (TCT, fine-tooth, rip, crosscut, multi-material) are available separately.
What is the maximum thickness it can cut?
The maximum cutting depth is 65mm at 90° and 45mm at 45°. This allows it to cut through 2×6 timber (63mm), 2×4s, thick plywood, and most construction materials in a single pass at 90°. This is one of the deepest cutting cordless circular saws available.
Can it do bevel cuts?
Yes. The saw features adjustable bevel cutting from 0-45°, allowing you to create angled cuts for miters, beveled edges, compound cuts, chamfers, and specialized framing and joinery work.
What is the difference between this and the 165mm model (CSLI1651)?
The CSLI1851 has a larger 185mm blade versus 165mm, providing greater cutting depth (65mm vs 55mm at 90°). The 185mm model is better suited for cutting thicker materials like 2×6 timber and heavy-duty construction work, while the 165mm model is more compact and lighter for general-purpose cutting.
Does it have a brushless motor?
Yes. The CSLI1851 features a brushless motor which provides greater efficiency, more power, longer runtime per charge, extended tool life, and requires virtually no maintenance compared to traditional brushed motors.
What is the guide ruler for?
The included guide ruler (also called a rip fence) attaches to the saw's base and rides along the edge of your workpiece, allowing you to make accurate parallel cuts at a consistent distance from the edge. This is especially useful for rip cuts and cutting boards to uniform width.
